Love Gilmore Girls, but
get lost in their references?

Same. That’s why we started this podcast in 2016.

Have a reference suggestion? We’re all ears! Email us with the Gilmore Girls mysteries you want us to solve or the references you just want to know more about.

Listen to our Podcast

Any Gilmore Girls fan knows our favorite TV series about Lorelai and Rory isn’t just a show! It’s a lifestyle of quoting our favorite mom-and-daughter duo, and it’s a religious habit of rewatching the series from start to finish again and again.

But true confessions: Sometimes we don’t know what the heck these two are talking about, so in every episode of the podcast, we try to identify another pop culture ref they’re dropping and then figure out what it means in the world of Stars Hollow.

Meet Taylor, aka T-Town.

Taylor Blake does digital marketing in her 9 to 5, and she loves the arts and storytelling 24/7. She writes for ZekeFilm and keeps a little blog of her own called Crowd vs. Critic, where she’s watching and writing about every Best Picture winner. She also finds as many excuses as she can to use the Adobe Creative Suite and keeps up with conversations on social media.

She started watching Gilmore Girls with her mom and sisters when she was in college and pretty much hasn’t stopped watching it since. If she’s not watching Lorelai and Rory drop obscure pop culture references, she’s probably eating some sort of breakfast food (no matter the time of day) or watching Turner Classic Movies. Only Kyla calls her T-Town, but then again, Kyla made this website.

Oh, and Kyla!

Kyla Carneiro is a podcast and TV junkie who can never have too many shows to listen to or watch. She’ll binge any investigative podcast, unless it’s turning gruesome murders into entertainment. (Bleh, amirite?) Gilmore Girls is her forever favorite, but Veronica Mars and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are a close second and third.

Researching, recording, and editing SO IT’S A SHOW? has taught Kyla more than she thought she’d ever learn about pop culture and Gilmore Girls, and she can’t wait to create another 100 episodes about this incredible show!
